And now it's february...

Every day that's passing we get closer and closer to the spring, I so hate winters. And Yes, I know I have been talking about this before. But I am really tired of snow, cold weather and ice.
Not to talk about how dark it is, dark when you get up and when you come home from work. But the thing that I really love abot Sweden is that you then have these lovely summer nights, when its daylight alomst 24-7.
The I can make some nice pizzas in my own forno a'legna, an outside owen in my garden imported from Italy.

It is a new year

This is 2011, one more year has passed, it is really amazing. Time passes so fast, you really have to take care of every minute there is. It is still winter obviously, and I hate snow. But what can I do. Just dreaming of a spring and summer. Or a new trip abroad.

Here in Sweden we have really cold vinter weather, with a lot of snow. Not my cup of tea but you can't chose that can you? Anyway - hope you will have a fantastic holiday!

Home again

It looks like I only write here when I have been away on holiday. And here we go again, my latest trip was to Sri Lanka, a beautiful island in Asia.
And I stayed at a lovely hotel, The Blue Water in Wadduwa. Here is a pic from the beach.

It is winter now - and cold

It is winter now outside, and it is really cold. I can't help longing for warmer, sunnier times. But I must admit it is reallt beautiful outside. It looks like a christmas card.
And soon it will be christmas, the first since both my parents passed away, so it's a bit sad really.
