Happy Midsummer!

It is Midsummer today in Sweden. So big party in the sun, or not:) It is actually raining here outside Uppsala just now in the morning.

But it will get better later on, so they say. Have a happy day, in Sweden or elsewhere!!

Summer at last!!

Are on a short holiday now here in Sweden and I am happy even if it is not that warm and sunny every day.

One day it was like this, and I got out with my phone, a sunny summer road.

Last week it was Midsummer here in Sweden, a big holiday for us. Here a photo from the table inside, it was rainy and cold outside that day.

After the rain

The midsummer celebrations was lovely this year, we could eat outside in the sun. But on saturday, the day after, it was raining.

But we should not really complain, just remember how it could be, like this cold freezing winter.

Yesterday in Sweden

As I told you we celebrated Midsummer yesterday, and this is what it looked like at my home.

We had amazing weather and I ate out in the sun in the afternoon. Today we are resting...

Happy Midsummer you all!

Today we celebrate Midsummer day - and it is going on until night. We dance arounde the Midsummer pole and pick flowers, some to put under our bed so you can dream of the man you suppose to marry.

We eat outside, herring (sill) and new potatoes with dill. And of course snaps. But this time I will make pizza, I hope. A new tradition maybe?

And the flowers here is Aguilegia, a typical flower to pick around Midsummer. It grows in my garden.
