Love flowers of all kind

More summer pictures, here two more from my garden in Sweden. First from the wall of my house with a pink rose and some clematis.

Flowers slimbing upp the wall.

And then these white shrubs that gives me a lovey perfume every day.

They are called Philadelphus virginalis in English, Schersmin in Swedish.

Here are some pictures from the summer of 2016. It is not over yet, so I will bring you more late on.

At Hötorget in Stockholm

Must share this pic from Hötorget in Stockholm, where they sell flowers and fruit, among other fresh things. It is always nice to walk around here and bou fresh wegetables and berries.

Now it's time for raspberries and strawberries. Good price for the flowers and fruit too, especially if you come at Saturday before closing time.

And then I give you one photo from my garden wit lovely white flowers with a lot of perfume.

Flowers on my dress

This weekend I was working on this, put some flowers on my old dress, wanted to spuce it up a bit.

There where also a some stains on the dress, from the coloring, that I just could not wash away. Bought it last year in Thailand. A bargain.

Snow everywhere

Just now it's snow everywhere here in Sweden, even on the flowers and plants I have, are covered by snow. This is on old hoseplant I have outside my home.

But in some strange way I must say it is almost magically beautiful too.

Like a painting

I put my old photo of some Thai flowers thru Photoshop, and it came out like this. Nice.

And here is another photo from Thailand, a hotel pool in Bankgok some years ago.

And as you can see it was on the roof, with a great view.

Summer in the window

Just some greetings from me here in Sweden, summer in the window. Just some summer flowers in a window, flowers that I picked up outside in the wild.

And the wase is from my mother Gunvor, mad in ceramic, as usual. Just love to use it.

From flower to a drink

Elderberry or Sambucus, the loved one have many names. This is some nice tasting flowers from the Elderberry bush, also called Sambucus nigra. In Swedish we call it Fläder.

I have a lot of them in my garden and use them every summer for making a syrup that I mix with water and then drink with a lot of ice. I pick the flowers and together with a lemon in pieces and some sugar and water I leave it in a big bowl for 3 days. Then I pour it in a sieve and the remains become a nice tasting syrup.

Green grass, red barn and white flowers

The withe flowers on the bushes in this pictures is Jasmine, they have av enchanting perfume. The green is the grass and it is so lush. The tree to the right is another color of green.

And then we have the rad old barn in the middle, most barns are painted in this red color here in Sweden, called Falu rödfärg. And then, I almost forgot, the blue sky above.
Falu Red the color is called, in English, and it is originated from the copper mine in Falun.

Pot of concrete

It look like it was made of stone, the big pot of concrete that you can see here in the picture, with flowers in it.

This year there is red Geraniums in the old, antique pots. And they are really heavy to move when winter comes.

My forest

Maybe it's not really my forest but I go here often, it is so relaxing. But I have a problem with finding my way out of the forest, so I have to be careful not to gest lost....

Here you have a big pine tree and a bush with wild roses, among other things.

After the rain

The midsummer celebrations was lovely this year, we could eat outside in the sun. But on saturday, the day after, it was raining.

But we should not really complain, just remember how it could be, like this cold freezing winter.

In the grass

If you look closely you can find all of these different flowers in your lawn, some not so nice and other just beautiful, in the grass in your own garden.

These are two different ones, can't say I know their names, but I like the look of it.

These flowers, or maybe I have to call them weeds, are in blue and yellow, like the Swedish flag.

Peonies in a vase

This is just to cheer you all up a bit, it is still raining a lot here in Sweden, so I just took in these lovely flowers in a vase.

They are red Peonies - Pioner in Swedish. A red Peony it's all you need. They are lovely flower in my opinion.

Yellow hill

The nature these days here in Sweden are just so beautiful, this is one hill painted in yellow by the flowers, the trees are not completely summer green yet.

And the we have this photo of another forest, this time the grass in full of blue flowers.

The blue flowers are mostly the Forget me not, Förätmigej, in Swedish or Myosotis scorpiodes.

Before the apples

It is lovely now in my garden, the apple trees are like this, love the apple blossoms and the lovely perfume they give. You have to get a bit close to see them and to get the perfume.

But when you do they look like this - beautiful is't it?

Flowers - in ceramic

My mothers work again,these are some flowers  - in ceramic. They are just so beautiful!

And this is her ceramic cutting board. Also that made of ceramic. I use it for garlic and other "smelly" stuff. And it reminds me of her every time.

Flowers of spring

Finally! The sun is shining and it is getting warmer. The flowers of spring is coming and my lawn is now full of these two.

These blue ones is called Scilla siberica, and they are so nice to have in the garden.

And these are called Gulsippa in Swedish, or yellow Anemone - Anemone Ranunculoides.

Here is some more lovely flowers to remind us about spring and summer to come.

How about some lovely red tulips? Now they are gone, but I had them for Easter.
This is the time to endulge in flowers, so I give you one more photo that reminds me of warmer times.

Flowers of Thailand

It is still just the beginning of spring here in Sweden and long until I can see flowers in my garden. So here is some flowers of Asia. These two comes from Thailand. One is in the water and one in from a bush. Both just as lovely.

This two above is some Lotus Flowers, one of the most famous flowers in Thailand.
