A not so dead tree

This Maple tree had to be cut of since the branches where so rotten they easily could have fallen off and cause some harm, one branch already falled off during a storm, thank God no one got hurt then.

But the tree did not want to die, as you can see som new, very small branches it growing. It give me hope just to look at it!

The perfume of lilacs

I am not 100% shue that you call these lovely flowers Lilacs or not, but the latin name is Syringa Vulgaris, a rather ugly name for sutch lovely plants.

These are growing outside my home, and their perfume is really wounderful. In Sweden we call them Syren.

Here you have another bush with white ones, just as beautiful.

Peonies in a vase

This is just to cheer you all up a bit, it is still raining a lot here in Sweden, so I just took in these lovely flowers in a vase.

They are red Peonies - Pioner in Swedish. A red Peony it's all you need. They are lovely flower in my opinion.

It is raining

And this is because I seek the sun... here in Sweden it has been raining, like this, all the day. And it has been really cold too.

But then again, when the rain stops we get these beautiful rainbows, two of them. One is really clear, the other one a bit less.

Seeking the sun

This painting, in watercolours by my mother Gunvor, it is so much me and my life, always seeking the sun...the light.

You can see how much these persons want to go into the sun itself, to the light there in the background.
I have the painting on a wall here at my home, so I can watch it all the time.

He is looking at you

When my cat looks at me like this I really would like to know what he want, probably just be left alone.
I am rather good at understanding him, but not always.

He talks a lot, and now I can hear what type of message he is giving me, like "I am angry that I have not got the food I like", or when he is just glad to see me again.

Here he is with another wild black and white cat we have here around the house.

My herb garden

Today the rain is pouring outside, so this photo is taken some days ago. It shows my little herb garden. I must say it is not finished yet, more to come.

Here you can see one pot with rosemary and one with sage and then one with thyme. Then I have two pots with basil - la mia cara basilica - that I use on my pizzas and so much else.

Here is my pizza owen that I wrote about before, love it! It makes so good pizzas, a forno a legna.
