Heaven and hell

And here we go again! Another hate attack with a lot of people murdered. Please stop this madness. Let there be a heaven for all these victims and let the guilty ones go to h-ll.

A reminder of peace

After the horrible terror attacs in Belgium today, I must post this, a reminder of my late mother Gunvor that did this face of Jesus, carved in wood.

Please, please, please let the world become a nicer place, with peace and love instead of terror!!!

Christmas is coming...

New Year soon

It is now time to say goodbye to 2013 and welcome 2014, a new year that I hope will bring you all fantastic things.

Love struggle

Now a piece of my late mother Gunvor's art again, a statue of two people in love, but it is called a Love struggle.

It is like a dance they do together, or what do you see?

My dear, dear friend in Rome, Marta, gave me this photos of my late mother Gunvors work that she has hanging on her wall in Italy.

It is two pieces of art in textile. applications. One is mostly in red and blue colors.

The other one is in yellow and in blue. They are made to hang together on a wall.

Here is a pictures of both, looking good, and really nice to see! Grazie Marta!! "Sorella mia".

A scene from the country

My mother Gunvor made a lot of "jewelry". This one is a little brooch in ceramic that she hand painted.

The motive is from the countryside where she lived here in Sweden, with the church and all.

Necklace in ceramic

My mother made this kind of necklaces in ceramic in the late 70:s, these are in ceramic but hand painted in acryilc colors.

The pendant is really original, like to use it when dressing a bit hippy-ish.

And again, this is just one more piece of art by my mother Gunvor, a bowl in ceramic, this day with some sweets in it.

On the outside you can se the pattern she had done with the help of an old crocheted table cloth.

Just another painting from my late mother Gunvor that is hanging on my wall, love it.

It is a scene from the landscapte just outside her house, just like it is just now, with a little snow here and there.

Hands on cross

My late mother Gunvor made some amazing art in her life, this one is one of them.

Love this sculpture with the hands - united on the cross. Helping, caring and loving hands. Is is just what we all need in these days!!

Faces on the wall

My mother Gunvor made a lot of self portraits during the years, from her youth to some more recent.

She put them up on a wall before her death some years ago. I left them there as a memory of her.

Candle now inside the house

Just some days ago I wrote about my late mother Gunvors art - this time a little building that was made for a candle.

Here it is again, the house is made of ceramic and glass. Now with a candle inside.

And if you have not seen it before I show it again, in day light.

A home for your candles

This is a lovely building made by my mother in ceramic and glass, it is made like a candle holder.

You just lift it up and plce one of them on the plate. And then you have a very nice piece of art - by my late mother Gunvor.

My mother Gunvor's art is really everywhere, here one piece of her ceramic work is in this window.

It is another one that is made of her inspiration from Mother Earth. It is a really big seedpod.

Icy outside

It is very icy outside now here in Sweden. At least where I stay, close to the airport of Stockholm. So it is very difficult to walk.

But it is getting better, I hope it will rain away soon. But I give you something much nicer to look at, my mothers apples.

I have the apples in ceramic outside my house when it's summer. They are so lovely.

Mother with children

My mother Gunvor is no longer with us here on earth, but her work lives on. Forever. Love you mom!!

Heaven made of fabric

This is another of my favorites by my mother Gunvor, a "painting" in fabric. It's a art piece of heaven and earth. Heaven made of cloth.

You could see a lot in it, depending of your faith. I love it, what do you think?
