First Advent

Today is the first Advent, and I have picked up my Advent-candleholders. Just as I always do this time of the year.

And all the other lights I have, just to make the darkness a little bit less dark...

First Sunday of Advent

Today we light up all the christmas candles - the real ones and the electric ones as uoy can see in the pictures here.

Because today is the first Sunday of Advent, a tradition here in Sweden that make us light up!

We have almost one Christmas light in every window. As you can se here.

A bit closer to christmas

We just celebrated Advent yesterday and lit the first candle. And the we hung up the lights in our flagpole. One step closer to christmas.

But then you can start dream about the spring. So here I bring you some flowers I usually pick just after the snow has left the roadside. 

Here is one vase with tussilago, coltsfoot. 

And as usual it is a piece of art from my mother Gunvor. Made in ceramics.
