Icy outside

It is very icy outside now here in Sweden. At least where I stay, close to the airport of Stockholm. So it is very difficult to walk.

But it is getting better, I hope it will rain away soon. But I give you something much nicer to look at, my mothers apples.

I have the apples in ceramic outside my house when it's summer. They are so lovely.

Fruits to pick

Now it is time to pick all the fruits we have here in the garden, and there is a lot of them.

As you can see here above - this is my plums. Good for making chutney and marmelade.

And here you have som lovely organic apples, from my garden. Not so big but very tasty. I use them for apple pies and for apple juice.

Berries to be

Redcurrants to be, they are still a bit green, but soon I will make marmelade and other lovely things.

Here they are in another photo, more close up.

An soon I will have my lovely apples to pick from my garden, all organic of course. But this is what they look like a week ago.

In some weeks time, this is going to be an apple pie or something else.

Apples to be

In one month or more, these small tings will become big, sweet apples. This photo is from today - in my garden.

Just love these apples, they are from a very old apple tree, as you all can see. Will take more photos later.

An old apple tree

This what an old apple tree looks like, but it gives me good apples in the autumn anyhow.

I think it is beautiful - even if it's not supposed to look lite that, I know.

Apples on a plate

This is some apples on a plate that I have outside in my garden during summer. They are made in ceramic and of course - my mother Gunvor has made them some years ago.

Even if I can't eat them I still love to look at them. And as you can see, one is "eaten" too, an apple core.
