River is now a lake

The river down from our houses, was an old waterway where the vikings passed with their ships, once upon a time.

Today it's just a small river, but during spring it becomes a lake. Complete with beautiful swans.

Here is another wiew down to the river, the photo is from the beginning of last week, so with a little more snow, and no lake.

Necklace in ceramic

My mother made this kind of necklaces in ceramic in the late 70:s, these are in ceramic but hand painted in acryilc colors.

The pendant is really original, like to use it when dressing a bit hippy-ish.

My new top

Just bought this glittery top, perfect together with a pair of white jeans in summer.

It's from the chain of shops Zara, and it was on sale. Love that!

Old postcard

Found this old postcard in a shop, with the lady and a young artist painting her.

But I have more old things from old magazines or old newspapers.

Like this ad - for men that would like to have more muscles - in just 7 days. Shure....

And then we have this page with a lot of different ads. Fun stuff!

A bowl made by my mother

And again, this is just one more piece of art by my mother Gunvor, a bowl in ceramic, this day with some sweets in it.

On the outside you can se the pattern she had done with the help of an old crocheted table cloth.

A scene from my wall

Just another painting from my late mother Gunvor that is hanging on my wall, love it.

It is a scene from the landscapte just outside her house, just like it is just now, with a little snow here and there.
