One more shop

Here you have another shop in Goa, a wholesale trader and he got almost anything for sale.

The shop is in the small "town"of Cansaulim in south Goa in India.

And here you have the butcher in Cansaulim. A very happy one that show what you can get there.

Elephants from India

I really love elephants. In real life and in wood, stone or whatever material they can be made of, like souvenirs of India.

Like these lovely ones I saw in Goa.  They thend to like when things glitters in India. So sweet!

Flowers on my dress

This weekend I was working on this, put some flowers on my old dress, wanted to spuce it up a bit.

There where also a some stains on the dress, from the coloring, that I just could not wash away. Bought it last year in Thailand. A bargain.

Wall tiles

Goa in India resembled Portugal, it also was a former colony. A lot of churches in the region.  But there was more...

My hotel Heritage Williage club was full of hand painted tiles, on the floor and on the walls. Like this ones, from the reception area.

Painted black

Here yoy have another pair of my new sandals, these are painted black by me, one was white and the other one black before. Got them as a "sample pair" from a retailer.

So for something completely different - I made this lovely dessert yesterday, easy and so good.

Smetana mixed with vanilla, sugar and some Amarula cream, fresh raspberries. And cookies of toasted sesame seeds.

Yet another pair of sandals

And this is another pair of flat sandals - got them recently and changed the color of them, I love them. Hope you like them too.

I am quite fond of the fake diamonds, even if they can look rather tacky. But I think the sandals are sleek...

Vegetables for sale

Here we are back in India again, talking about the food I ate when I was in Goa. A lot of veggies, all sorts and in all it's forms.

Nice hot dishes. So to make a a curry you need spices. Like this ones, also for sale in India.
