Stone-faced

This is really a stone-face - or should I say many faces in stone. As usual it is a piece of art made by my mother Gunvor. She worked in many materials, one of them where stone.

She found these stones here out in the country and then she made this piece of art from them.

Cross in copper

More art from my mother, this another cross. A little torn and worn here and there, but still very nice to look at.

She loved to experiment with different materials, this ones is made in copper.

And this cross is from the other side.

Nature in art

Here is two more pieces of art by my mother, one is a composition of real things from nature, put together as a "painting".

She found dry pieces from flowers, dried plants and other things.

But this is made of ceramics, amd it just has a form of a flowerbud of some kind.

Two women

These two statues is very different - one carved in wood the other one made of metal. But my mother Gunvor had very different styles and techniques.

Here in one woman, made of wood - in one piece - that my mother found on her walks around her house.

Ande here is another one, crazy statue made of metal that my mother found after a fire. I like it!

This close to christmas I feel like showing you som more things from my mother Gunvor's collection - some of her artworks - here you have of Jesus Christ in different forms.

This one is my favorite - made of wood and then partially painted - a crucifix; Jesus on the cross.
