A walk on the beach again?

During the winter here in Sweden many of us are dreaming of a sunny day at the beach. Like this here, when I was in Thailand last year.

But soon again I will be in the sun, in Asia. Dreaming of it every day now. The pictures here in from Kamala beach in Phuket.

An as you can see here in my photos it is not really crowded. Just a few persons on the beach.

Making angels in the sand

Just love this photo. I live in a country with a lot of snow in winter time. So I have made snow angels a lot of times, in Thailand, Phuket you do not see a lot of snow.

So then you have to make sand angels. Like this two children in Kamala beach.

Beach photos

Love to walk along the beach, wherever I am. Hopefully the beach is like this, not crowded with a lot of people.

This time is some photos from Thailand again, from lovely Kamala Beach in Phuket.

You can clearly see the tide, a lot of sand to walk in this day. And very relaxing.

Walking at the beach

I really like walking in Kamala, not much people and a really relaxing just listening to the waves.

Here on my way to the beach. It is not much water at this hour, it's tide.

Here you can se some fishing boats, waiting to go out later when the water comes back.

On the way to the beach you also can see these local drink- and food stalls.

From my balcony

This is the view from my balcony at Cape Sienna hotel in Phuket. This was the third time here at the hotel.

One day with ebb, with almost no water outide in the sea at Kamala beach.

Back again...

Just came home from another vacaition in Thailand, and once more i I stayed at hotel Cape Sienna in Kamala in Phulet.

Here is a photo from the evening at the new bar they built this year.

And then one photo of the pool during dinnertime. It was really tempting, all day long. More photo's later...

Waterlife at Indigo Pearl

There is a lot of water around at Indigo Pearl resort in Phuket Thailand. Not only pools, also small lakes.

And there is a lovely park around the buildings - all so green almost like a jungle.

Here is another pond, just outside my hotel room. Magical and mystic.

And here is a pic of one of the hotel pools, an infinity pool for adults only.

Fresh seafood

When in Thailand you just have to try some really fresh seafood, like the ones on this "boat" from a restaurant at Nai Yang Beach in Phuket.

You could find this kind of food in all the local, cheap and very good restaurants along the beach.

And then you got a view like this too, just close to the sea...

Infinitypool at Indigo Pearl

The hotel I stayed in in Thailand, in Phuet, Indigo Pearl had many different pools, one was this infinity pool just for adults.

Not always sunny, but always very varm. You could say HOT.

But then again, you also had the beautiful beach in the north west of Puket,  Nai Yang beach, really close to the airport.

And here is the beach just outside Hotel Indigo Pearl, and it was really sunny that day. And hot.

Not many people on the beach, Nai Yang Beach in Phuket is lovely.

And back to work again

Today it will be my first day at work after a lovely holiday in Thailand, yes I came back, again. This time I was in Phuket and in Bangkok.

This is a photo from my hotel, Indigo Pearl resort in Nai Yang, with a little pond outside some of the rooms.

A really lovely place to be, here you have one of the pools. Really important in the heat.

Shop's in Thailand & India

The first photo is from a 7 Eleven store in Thailand, in Kamala Beach in the tourist island of Phuket.

There you could found a hot sandwich and a cold drink for a little less than 1 Euro. And a lot of other stuff that you need on a daily basis.

And here you have a shopping street in India, in Goa, a completely diffrent place, but you still had a lot of options to shop.

Dinner at Cape Sienna

These are photos from last August, when I wisited Thailand for the fifth time, and Hotel Cape Sienna in Kamala Beach in the island of Phuket. For the second time.

On the first photo you see all the different startes, entrés and snacks that where includes in the buffé.

 Here you can see the chef grilling the stuff you want "a la minute", just by the poolside. Meat, poultry or seafood. Your choice.

And here is the desserts. Much more than in the pic, just a few - like choccolate mousse, créme brulee and pannacotta with fresh strawberries. 

My new sandals

Look at these beautiful sandals I just got, white, gold and silver. Love them.

Perfect when I travel next time, hopefully to somewhere warm and sunny. Like Thailand...

This is just a reminder of what my last vacay in Phuket was, like eating at this restaurant Rock Fish in Kamala beach.

Buddha x 2

When in Thailand it's hard not to see Buddha statues, some bigger and more grand than others.

Here above is one from Bangkok - a truly beautiful one in gold.

And this one is beautiful too, even if it's a bit old, photo from a trip in Phuket and around.

More from Phuket

Here you have to more photos from Phuket in Thailand. The first photo is from Kamala Beach and show us a hair salon in one of the streets behind the beach.

Love the color on the house, and all the flowers otside, upstairs and downstairs.

And this one is a beautiful temple, still at Kamala beach, just close to the sea.

Shoe-shopping in Thailand

I love shoes, not necessary this ones in the picture. But they where interesting to look at. Most of them had really high heels, and that is not for me.

The shoe store in the pic is from the big shopping centre in Patong, Jungceylon. And there you can find a lot of shops, not only with shoes.

Love tempura

When in Thailand I always try different restaurants, not always the Thai ones. Love Japanese food, so I went to one Japanese restaurant in the big shopping centre in Phuket - Jungceylon.

I tried tempura, among other things. And it was really good, as the rest of their food.

I miss Thailand!

I really miss Thailand - just walking down the road close to the sea at Kamala Beach.

This is just one of the nice, simple things in life to do, so quiet and in some ways very beautiful. Here you have an entrance, and look at all the power lines, a wonder the electricity work at all...
